Which centre would you like to visit?

What happens on a tour

Thirty minutes that answer the questions you’ve been lying awake with.

Choosing an early learning centre is an important decision, and we want you to feel completely confident before enrolling.

  1. 01

Pick a centre and a time

Choose a 30 minute slot that suits you. If you'd rather we call you to arrange it, leave your number and we will.

  2. 02

    Walk through with us

We'll show you around the centre, introduce you to our educators and explain how we teach and care for each age group.

  3. 03

    Ask us everything

Settling in, daily routines, meals, sleep, fees and your Child Care Subsidy. We'll talk about your child's individual needs.

  4. 04

    Take your time deciding

There's absolutely no pressure. The goal is simply to help you decide whether we're the right fit for your family.

Starting childcare

It’s okay to feel nervous. We’ll go at their pace.

Starting daycare is a big milestone for both children and parents. Every child settles differently, so we take the time to understand their personality, routines and needs, and build a gentle transition with you.

A gentle start

Shorter days at first while your child settles, and updates from us throughout the settling process.

Pikler-inspired nursery

Babies have their bonding needs lovingly met while they explore at their own pace, develop movement confidence and grow through calm, respectful interactions.

See their day as it happens

Regular updates and photos on Xplor about their learning, activities and daily routine, so you're never wondering.

Our approach

We believe each child is strong, capable and resilient, rich with wonder and knowledge.

Our Reggio Emilia-inspired approach encourages children to explore, discover and learn through play in thoughtfully designed environments. We’re owner-operated, and more than just a childcare centre: we’re early learning centres, following the Early Years Learning Framework.

  1. 01

    Projects

Children develop their ideas over time: discussing, revisiting and watching their thinking grow as independent learners.

  2. 02

    Sensorial

Materials presented beautifully, inviting children to touch, admire and explore before asking what they are for.

  3. 03

    Languages

Art, construction, drama, music, puppetry and shadow play: the hundred languages children use to show what they know.

  4. 04

    Research

Children are born researchers. Play follows their interests and questions, building independence and creative thinking.

  5. 05

    Collaboration

Small and large group work where children talk, compare, negotiate and solve problems together.

From our families

“As parents, there is nothing more reassuring and comforting than seeing your child genuinely excited and happy to go to childcare every day. Our daughter Vicky absolutely loves going to the centre, she even packs her bag on weekends asking if she can go :) That alone says everything about the safe, nurturing, and positive environment the team creates.”

“With my kids, they come home very happy every day. They cannot wait to share all the things they did with the educators. The educators spent lots of thoughts designing the activities, and all of activities are truly fun and educational.”
June Wu · Rosebery
“My children have settled in very well, they are happy, comfortable, and have learned and developed so much since attending. It gives me great peace of mind knowing they are in such a positive and caring environment.”
Pasha Ardestani · Castle Hill
“After an extensive research and visiting a few other childcares I have decided to enrol my daughter to Reggio Academy Castle Hill and it was the best decision I could make! The centre creates a warm and welcoming environment for children.”

Questions

Everything parents ask us first.

Can’t see yours? Ask it on your tour, or call the centre.

How much are your fees?+

Fees vary by age group and centre, so we go through them with you in person on your tour, along with what your Child Care Subsidy is likely to cover. Both centres are CCS approved, and nappies, wipes and meals are included.

How do you help children settle in?+

Every child settles differently, so we take the time to understand their personality, routines and needs. Our educators work closely with families on a gentle transition, with shorter days at first, and we keep you updated throughout the settling process.

How will I know what my child is doing during the day?+

Through our parent app, Xplor, you'll receive regular updates, photos and information about your child's learning, activities and daily routine.

What ages do you take?+

Castle Hill welcomes children from 6 weeks to 6 years. Rosebery welcomes children from 12 months to 6 years.

What are your hours?+

Both centres are open 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

What makes you different from other centres?+

We believe children learn best through curiosity, creativity and meaningful relationships. Our Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, Pikler-inspired nursery and small community feel mean every child can feel known, valued and supported. We're owner-operated, not a corporate chain.

What qualifications do your educators have?+

Our educators hold approved early childhood qualifications, first aid training and child protection training, and take part in ongoing professional development.

Why is Castle Hill called Reggio Academy?+

Castle Hill is our flagship and the centre many families first knew as Reggio Academy. It's a sister centre to My Reggio Kindy Garden in Rosebery, with the same owners and philosophy.

What happens after I book a tour?+

One of our team will be in touch to confirm your visit and answer any initial questions. On the day, we'll show you around, introduce you to our educators, explain our learning philosophy and talk about your child's needs.

A little more wonder. A lot more confidence.

Come and see it for yourself. Tours are free, relaxed and take about 30 minutes.
